Lake Ossipee is located in Carroll County in eastern New Hampshire, within the neighoring communities of Ossipee and Freedom. It's is the sixth-largest lake located entirely in New Hampshire. The lake is fed by the West Branch (entering from the north), the Bearcamp and Lovell rivers (entering from the west), and the Pine River (from the south).
Ossipee Lake is a wonderful and popular activity destination. There are numerous homes and condo's surrounding the lake. As in most lakes regions, some buildings are available for vacation rentals, and many of the developments have private beaches and lake access. There are many fishing opportunities and the lake houses species such as Atlantic Salmon, Brook Trout, Chain Pickerel, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and Yellow Perch.
